Fundamentals of Small Engine Repair

Learn how to repair engines.

Motor cycles, lawn mowers, whipper-snippers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, marine outboards, toys – the world runs on small internal combustion engines. And just like their automotive counterparts, they need people to maintain and repair them.

The Cengage Education Small Engine Repair course introduces students to the principles on which small engines function and the components making them up.

You’ll learn how petrol and diesel engines work and move on to the fundamentals of repairing fuel systems, exhaust and lubricating systems, cooling systems, ignition starters and transmission systems.

On completion of your course:

Upon successful completion of all course modules you will be issued a Cengage Education Certificate in Small Engine Repair.
