Laptop Computer Giveaway: April – July 2010.
- Information on how to enter forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry to this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees and immediate families of Cengage Education are not eligible to enter.
- To qualify, students must be enrolled by the deadline date of the offer (16 days from the date printed on the enrolment form). The enrolment form must bear a stamp of eligibility. The enrolment form must be signed in agreement with the terms and conditions of enrolment.
- Entry is open to all students enrolling in a Cengage Education or Australian College of Journalism course.
- The judge’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
- The competition commences April 01 2010 and closes June 30, 2010.
- There will be a total of 3 prize draws (one for each month of April, May and June), each selecting 5 winners. The draws will be conducted on the 14th of May, 14th of June and 14th of July 2010 respectively at 11.00am at the offices of Cengage Education – Level 1, 1 Waltham Street, ARTARMON NSW 2064. All eligible entries have an equal chance of winning.
- The winners each receive a Compaq 610 Laptop computer, featuring a C2D–5870 2GHz processor, Windows 7 Professional, 2GB memory (expandable to 4GB), 250GB hard drive (7200rpm), DVD Drive, 15.6 inch Widescreen display, Intel GMA X3100 Graphics Controller, integrated card reader and integrated webcam.
- Each laptop is valued at $857; total prize value of the giveaways is $12,855 (Inc GST).
- Each winner will be notified by mail and by phone on the 14th of May, 14th of June and 14th of July 2010 respectively and announced in The Australian newspaper on the 21st of May, 18th of June and 23rd of July 2010 respectively.
- Prize is not redeemable for cash.
- The name and state of residence of the winners may be published by Cengage Education in future promotional material unless notified otherwise.

- The competition commences May 1, 2009 and closes 5pm June 30, 2009.
- The draw will be conducted on July 30, 2009 at 10.00am at the offices of Cengage Education – Level 1, 1 Waltham Street, ARTARMON NSW 2064. All eligible entries have an equal chance of winning.
- There a ten (10) Payback Bonuses to be won. Each of the 10 winners will be reimbursed for the cost of their course, up to the value of $2,000. If the cost of the winners course is less than or equal to $2,000, their enrolment will be refunded in full. If their course value exceeds $2,000, they will receive $2,000 off the cost of their course.
Prizes will be credited to the same bank or credit account the winner used to pay for the original course fees within 30 working days of the prize draw. Maximum total prize value is $20,000.
- Students who cancel their enrolment within the 21 day cooling off period will be ineligible for this promotion.
