Dates for 2009 to 2012 are listed above to help you plan your study. Students may enrol in one or more Units up to one month after the Term Start Date (the Census Date).
If a student withdraws from a Unit after the Census Date, they will not receive a refund or will incur a FEE-HELP debt and a grade of fail will automatically be recorded for the Unit.
The formal commencement date of a Unit is the first day of the Term of the Unit in which the student enrols (see the table above). The duration of a Term is 10 weeks and there are five Terms per year plus two weeks following the End Date of Term 5 (student vacation).
The duration of a Unit is two Terms or 20 weeks. The first Term (ten weeks) of a Unit is the Study Term and the second Term (ten weeks) of the Unit is the Review Term. Units may be commenced at any one of the five Terms in a year and it is permitted to commence a Unit(s) during the Review Term of Units in which the student is currently enrolled.
