Aromatherapy is gaining in popularity as a natural healing discipline, both in its own right and as an adjunct to other branches of alternative medicine.

The Cengage Education Aromatherapy Foundations course introduces students to aromatherapy practice, its history and basic concepts. You’ll learn about common essential oils – the botanical names of their donor plants, methods of extraction, blending techniques and application methods.

The course also covers correct storage and handling and safe use of essential oils.
