A guide to our student forums

Meeting your student needs

Cengage Education offers a unique learning experience different from that of a traditional college. With our convenient distance learning scheme, we can help you get the qualifications you need – all from the comfort of your own home.

In fact, when you enrol in one of our courses you get all the benefits of campus life. Maybe you’ll feel the need to discuss your work with other students. Perhaps you’ll want more interaction with tutors. Maybe you’ll just want to meet some new people!

Our online student forums provide all of that, and more.

You are not alone!

Hit up our website and you’ll find a lively and sociable cyber-campus buzzing with fellow students, where you can discuss everything to do with your course, and beyond.

The social side of studying at home

Head to the Lecture Theatre, where you can put course questions to students and tutors alike, or the Quadrangle, where you can have course-related discussions. There’s even the more informal Student Lounge, where everything is discussed from difficult assignments to what you’re doing this weekend to where to buy cats in Brisbane!

Help is at hand

After enrolling on a course you’ll get practical help from your tutors, ideas and moral support from your fellow students, and inspiration from our student mentors.

Having trouble managing your time? Need some study tips? Or just a bit of encouragement? The student mentors will be able to help. You can find them online at the Student Mentoring forum.

Talking shop

The forums are a space to share knowledge, vent your frustrations, pose practical questions, and chat about new ideas with like-minded people.

You can use them to network with your fellow students, and find people that are already doing the job you want to do - read their stories and get valuable advice about how to get started on that dream career.

News as it breaks

Keep in touch with what’s happening at the Announcements forum, where all the latest news about Cengage Education and its courses is posted.

We also have a monthly email newsletter VISION, which is bursting with information about our courses, as well as wallet-friendly discount offers.

Whether it’s big news such as the recent name change, or Cengage Education’s developing relationships with organisations relevant to your course, you’ll be among the first to hear about it.

Teacher resource

There will be occasions when you’ll want to speak to your tutor. Quite a few occasions, we expect. While they sometimes pop up around the cyber-campus, they’re best contacted via our Tutor Enquiry Form.

Here you can ask any question you might have about your assignments. Leave them your contact details and they’ll get back to you with all the help you need to continue your studies.
