I was a single mother living by myself and needed to study to expand my job opportunities. I wanted to get ahead in life and build a better future for my daughter. Going to TAFE or university would not have worked as I had a 6 month old daughter, so I decided to do home studies with Cengage Education. When you have a baby your time schedule is different every day, so I studied when it suited me, which was great. If I had any problems, all I had to do was a quick email to a teacher.
As my studies were coming to an end and I was happy with the results and the feedback I was receiving, I started inquiring about jobs in my local area. I now have a full-time job which I absolutely love in QLD Health as a HR Operations Officer in Payroll.
I would really like to thank Cengage Education and the tutors for giving me the confidence and knowledge to pursue my career goals and get me where I am today.
