Trainers Needed - Distance Education Courses
Cengage Education, a leading distance education training provider, is seeking expressions of interest from potential trainers for our distance education programs. Successful applicants will be added to our trainer availability list. Ideal candidates would be those who are looking to supplement their income. Trainers do not work on site but must reside currently in Australia. Only people with the right to work in Australia may apply for this position.
Trainers are responsible for assessing and grading assignments, answering queries, supporting and giving feedback to students and assisting in the maintenance of course material to ensure students receive fair, valid, consistent and relevant service.
Trainers for accredited courses will need industry qualifications, industry experience and a CIV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
We are currently looking for trainers in the following course areas:
- Aged Care
- Animal Care
- Interior Design
- News Journalism

Workplace Assessors Needed - Distance Education Courses
Cengage Education, a leading distance education training provider, is seeking expressions of interest from Workplace Assessors in the following areas:
- Aged Care (Certificate III)
- Animal Care
- Beauty Therapy
- Children's Services (Certificate III and Diploma level)
- Horticulture
- Hospitality
- Interior Design
- Retail Operations
- Travel and Tourism
Workplace Assessors will need the relevant industry qualifications, industry experience and a CIV in Assessment and Workplace Training in order to assess trainees in their workplace on a regional basis. Assessors are required to ensure completed assessment would accompany records of assessments to Cengage Education to corroborate the validity of assessment outcomes for compliance purposes.
