Cheryl tutors the distance education Travel and Tourism Certificate courses and has been working in the industry for some time.
She brings to the travel and tourism courses a wealth of experience, having commenced her career in 1974 as a junior trainee travel consultant. She is still actively employed in the industry, currently working with a travel company in the east of Sydney.
Cheryl holds certificates for many of the major travel courses that a travel consultant can gain. These include Selling Skills, Fares and Ticketing 1 and 2 and Computer Reservation Systems (CRS) training. She also has several certificates of qualification issued by Qantas and British Airways.
In addition, Cheryl is a member of the Australian Institute of Travel & Tourism - MAITT. She has gained valuable experience over the years working in many areas of travel - including retail, corporate, groups and incentives.
She has been tutoring travel and tourism courses with the Australian College of Travel & Tourism since 1985. In accordance with VETAB requirements, she holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
